A judge is ordering a trial for a Kaukauna man charged with a deadly crash in Harrison.
Prosecutors say 22-year-old Codi Miller was drunk when he hit a 13-year-old boy on a bicycle earlier this month. Fifty-three-year-old Kim Anderson of Appleton was riding with Miller on a motorcycle, and she died at the scene.
The boy was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highway KK and State Park Road.
Miller didn’t have a license because he was convicted of his third drunk driving offense three months earlier. He was also ordered to have an Ignition Interlock Device on every vehicle drives.
Miller was in Calumet County court this morning for a preliminary hearing. He’s facing a series of charges, including homicide by driving drunk.
