An exhibit about local men and women who served in World War I will be in Oshkosh for one more month.
“For Home and Country” commemorates the 100th anniversary of the great war.
Karla Szekeres is the Marketing and Membership Coordinator at the Oshkosh Public Museum. says the items on display are from people who served or lived in the city at that time. She says there’s propaganda, clothing, and weapons. She says it’s about people that served and what people did at home.
“For Home and Country: World War One” is at the Oshkosh Public Museum through October 7th. More information about the exhibit and hours can be found on the museum’s website.
