A neighborhood by Lake Winnebago in Harrison is dealing with the aftermath of yesterday morning’s house explosion.
A home on Fire Lane 12 was destroyed. The blast severely damaged some other houses and left debris around the area. No one was in the home that blew up. Two neighbors apparently suffered minor injuries.
Harrison Fire Chief Amos Mikkelson says they were very lucky because it could have easily taken someone’s life.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s department is investigating the cause of the explosion.
