Greyhound is ending its daily bus routes connecting northeast Wisconsin to Milwaukee and Chicago.
It included stops in Appleton, Oshkosh, and Green Bay. It leaves Lamers and the company’s Connect service as the only way to get between the communities by bus.
Ash Narayanan is the director of transportation policy for the group One-thousand Friends of Wisconsin. He says every time a line gets cut, it reduces flexibility and options for people.
He says the state should be investing more in mass transit options including ones that would connect regions.
