A state report shows opioid prescriptions are down 32 percent in Wisconsin over the past three years.
The state Controlled Substances Board says there were nearly 1.3 million prescriptions over the first three months of 2015. The total was almost 875,000 during the first quarter of this year.
The numbers are based on data from the state prescription drug monitoring program.
