There’s an event tonight in downtown Appleton to help kick off the holiday season.
The Trout Museum of Art is organizing Light Up Appleton in Houdini Plaza.
Museum President Christina Turner says they wanted to make it more family friendly this year. She says some local choirs are singing carols in Houdini Plaza, and they’re asking people to join in.
Turner says businesses along College Avenue will have art from kids in their windows. She says many will have activities and specials.
She says local artists will be selling their work inside the Trout Museum of Art, and admission is free to their current exhibit.
Light Up Appleton started at 4 p.m. and it runs until 8 p.m.
