The new diversity officer for Appleton schools says the district is making progress, but there’s still more to do.
The school board created the job this year, and Pa Lee Moua started two months ago. She believes inclusion is very important for a student’s well-being, and that impacts their academic life.
Moua is holding some meet-and-greet sessions for the community….this week. They run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tonight’s is at West High School and tomorrow’s will be at North High School.
