Tens of thousands of people are expected to line College Avenue in downtown Appleton tonight for the city’s annual Christmas Parade.
It starts at 7:00 p.m. Parade Organizer Greg Otis says they’ll have a record number of marching bands. He says there’s 21 bands, lots of floats, and they expect good weather.
Overall there will be about 80 entries in the parade. People can start reserving spots along College Avenue at noon. They have to stay at their spot. City crews will remove any items that are set out before noon or are unattended.
