A number of local clerks are working on a hand count of some of their ballots to check the accuracy of voting machines.
Appleton City Clerk Kami Lynch says they went over the ballots for Districts 10 and 12 on the west side yesterday, and the totals matched.
Oshkosh Clerk Pam Ubrig says they’re starting their count of two wards on Friday.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission orders the counts after every November election. This time, they need to be done before the vote totals are officially certified on December 3rd.
