Outgoing Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel will become a judge in Waukesha County.
Governor Walker is appointing Schimel to that position. Before he was elected as attorney general four years ago, Schimel was the Waukesha County district attorney.
Schimel lost his re-election bid to Democrat Josh Kaul earlier this month.
