A prominent defense attorney in Wisconsin is losing his law license.
The state Supreme Court indefinitely suspended Attorney Gerald Boyle.
He represented serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the 1990s. Boyle was also the lawyer for former Packers tight end Mark Chmura. A jury found Chmura not guilty of sexual assault.
Clients accused Boyle of failing to explain the fees for two criminal cases.
Boyle argued he couldn’t defend himself against the complaints, because he got sick after undergoing surgery last year. He says he was medically incapacitated.
