Firefighters rescued five people from a house fire in Ashwaubenon this morning.
It happened in the 900 block of Marvelle Lane on the city’s north side.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers say someone alerted them to smoke coming out of an attached garage. They say they found five adults and two animals in the basement of the home.
Firefighters say everyone was treated at the scene. The cause is still under investigation.
