Green Bay police say a man they believed robbed two businesses last night is having an emotionally challenging time.
Captain Jeremy Muraski says he apologized to the clerks. He says the suspect indicated he was going through an emotionally challenging time in his life. He says the suspect did have a gun but didn’t point it at either clerk.
Muraski says both robberies happened about two blocks from each other on the east side. The first occurred around 7:15 p.m. at a Dairy Queen on Main Street. The second occurred around 10:45 p.m. at a Speedway gas station on East Mason Street.
