Green Bay’s outgoing mayor says he won’t be seeking another elected office.
Jim Schmitt said last week he was considering running for Brown County executive. This morning, Schmitt released a statement on the mayor’s office website stating that elections are very time consuming and in the next three months, he wants to focus his attention on other priorities for the city.
Schmitt announced in October that he will not be running for re-election in 2019.
