Stakeholders and others turned out last night for the first of many meetings to talk about a volunteer driver program.
Nick Musson is a planner with the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.
He says the idea is to provide rides to people who need to get to and from work.
Musson says a grant through Easter Seals is helping to pay for the program and now they need to get drivers.
Musson says volunteer drivers for the Winnebago Catch a Ride program will get 54 cents a mile.
He says volunteers need to fill out an application and agree to a background check.
