Governor Walker will be in Green Bay today to take action on the bills passed in extraordinary session.
The Republicans approved bills that weaken the powers of the incoming Democratic governor and attorney general.
Walker has signaled support for the bills and downplayed concerns that they’re a power grab.
He also said he intends to make some partial vetoes.
The measures give the Legislature control of the state jobs creation agency and blocks Governor-elect Tony Evers from withdrawing Wisconsin from a multistate lawsuit challenging the federal healthcare reform law.
Walker will be at the state office building at noon.
