An economic development leader says the deal the state made with Kimberly-Clark has teeth and the company needs to meet certain levels to get the tax incentives.
Jerry Murphy of the New North says the agreement has a broader impact than strictly in the Fox Valley because there are other plants. He says there’s the headquarters in Neenah, as well as the experimental mill there, and the tissue mill in Marinette.
Murphy says the actual number of jobs being saved is around 2,500.
