Governor Scott Walker’s name was mentioned on a list of potential candidates for the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
President Trump tweeted over the weekend that Ryan Zinke would be stepping down from the roll. Bloomberg Business News included Walker on a list of possible replacements.
Walker said on Friday that he’s had some offers to work in Washington but will stay in Wisconsin. He leaves office on January 7th.
