An audit says a state agency needs to fix its policies so Foxconn won’t receive tax credits for employees who don’t do work in Wisconsin.
The Legislative Audit Bureau found some procedures created by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation don’t comply with the law or the Foxconn contract. The company won’t be able to receive the first set of tax credits until next year.
The state is offering up to $3 billion in incentives if Foxconn spends $10 billion on its plant and hires 13,000 workers.
