A number of animals were killed in a barn fire northwest of Gresham early this morning.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s department says 30 cows and six horses were inside, along with some chickens, cats, and dogs. Deputies say all of them died.
They say the barn was destroyed. They say they’re looking for the cause. They don’t suspect foul play at this time.
Firefighters went to the farm on Morgan Road, in the Town of Red Springs, around 4 a.m.
