Organizers are putting on a non-alcoholic, family event around Green Bay today.
It’s the 28th year for U.S. Bank Eve.
Terri Trantow says people can take part in a variety of activities. Some of them start as early as 3 p.m., and the celebration ends with fireworks over the Fox River in downtown Green Bay at 9 p.m.
She says for the first time, they’re going to have sled dog races in the Adams Street parking lot in the downtown.
Trantow says the city wasn’t able to replace the “Lucky Llama” that died this year. It was said that people who saw the llama cross the Main Street Bridge would have luck in the new year.
