Democratic Governor-elect Tony Evers will be sworn into office in less than a week and the head of his transition team says it will be busy during that first week.
Joanne Anton was interviewed on Wisconsin Eye. She says they’ve got a lot on their plate right now. She says there’s a lot of hopes for the first week, and a lot of work to get there.
Anton says they’re working on a lot of issues at the same time. She says they include economic development and transportation. She says they want to make sure they start off on the right foot on the first day as well as in the first 100 days in office.
The inauguration for Evers is set for next Monday.
