A 25-year-old woman from Brandon died when she lost control of her car on a snow-covered Highway 26, north of Rosendale.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies say Rose Larson spun into the oncoming lane, and she was hit by a 61-year-old Winneconne woman around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.
Larson died at the scene, and a dog in her car was also killed. The woman from Winneconne was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
