The proposal to create a wheel tax in Oshkosh is up for more debate tonight.
The city’s long range finance committee will talk the possible $30 annual vehicle registration fee. City officials say special assessments for street reconstruction projects wouldn’t be eliminated, even with the wheel tax.
The Oshkosh city council wants the committee to take another look at the registration fee proposal.
