The largest collection of artifacts artwork and articles about sturgeon spearing, in one spot, is in Fond du Lac.
The Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts is hosting an exhibit called “Ancient Survivors.”
Executive Director Jacqui Corsi says they have more than 125 pieces from Wisconsin and around the world. She says they want to celebrate the culture in Fond du Lac and Lake Winnebago, since it’s one of the few places in the world that has sturgeon.
The free exhibit is at the Thelma Sadoff Center for Arts, through March 2nd.
