The suspect in the Jayme Closs case is scheduled to be in court later today.
21-year-old Jake Patterson is expected to be charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping.
Prosecutors say he shot James and Denise Closs to death in their home in Barron on October 15th and then took their daughter 13-year-old Jayme. They say Patterson kept her at his home in Gordon for nearly three months.
Investigators say Closs escaped last Thursday and Patterson was arrested minutes after she talked with police. They say Patterson had no criminal history and didn’t know Closs before the abduction.
Patterson is scheduled to make his first court appearance this afternoon.
