The man charged with kidnapping 13-year-old Jayme Closs and killing her parents is staying in the Polk County jail.
Twenty-one-year-old Jake Patterson’s case is in Barron County, but he was moved to the neighboring county’s jail. There are reports that a relative of Closs works in the Barron County jail.
Prosecutors say Closs escaped from a rural cabin in Douglas County last week, and Patterson was arrested.
