Students from over 60 local schools can get in on more than $1 million in scholarships, through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
The money comes from endowment funds.
Scholarship manager Jill Muthig says they have a wide range of requirements, and they vary by the scholarship.
Muthig says the scholarships range from a one-time $500 award, to $100,000 over four years.
She says there are online applications for most of the scholarships. She says deadlines vary, and the earliest is March 1st.
