Outagamie County Sheriff’s officials say they’re getting plenty of complaints from parents and school bus drivers about drivers who ignore signs to stop for school buses.
Sergeant Nate Borman says even though more deputies are on patrol, the number of violations continue to increase.
Many of the complaints come from the Greenville area.
School bus violations got so bad the district had to install cameras inside the buses.
A ticket for not obeying the law and stopping when a bus has its stop sign turned out can be over $300.
