There are 47 priests from the Green Bay Catholic Diocese with substantiated accusations of sexual abuse.
The Diocese released their names today.
Fifteen of them are still alive, and Bishop David Ricken says none of them are actively involved in the ministry. An investigative firm reviewed records, and found 98 alleged victims.
Ricken apologized to the victims and pledged that the Diocese is embarking on a new chapter of openness. He encouraged any other victims to reach out.
The names of the 47 priests are posted on the Diocese website.
