Waupaca County Sheriff’s deputies say a dog was shot in the Manawa area, and they arrested the owner’s neighbor.
Jeffrey Buttles was taken into custody, after the owner called the sheriff’s department on Wednesday. Deputies say he found evidence of the shooting on the neighbor’s land.
They say deputies learned the dog was placed in the South Branch of the Little Wolf River.
