There’s a new play area for the youngest visitors at a downtown Appleton children’s museum.
Building for Kids Executive Director Jarrad Bittner says the Babies and Toddlers Around the World exhibit replaces the Huggies Happy Baby Garden. He says they have seven different landscapes in the play area, and they’re designed for kids from zero to three years old. They include a desert, rainforest, and the northwoods of Wisconsin.
There was a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.
Kimberly-Clark is sponsoring the exhibit, and the company is holding a diaper drive to celebrate. Families can get free admission through February 1st, if they donate diapers.
Kimberly-Clark will match all of the donations. The diapers will go to the United Way Fox Cities and Jake’s Diapers.
