A fourth airline will start flying out of Austin Straubel International Airport in the Green Bay area.
Frontier Airlines will have a nonstop flight to Denver on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Airport Director Marty Piette says they haven’t had a low-cost carrier, and they hope to attract travelers from around northeast Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Piette says Frontier’s Denver flight will be a seasonal service, and he doesn’t have details yet on what months it will be available. He hopes Frontier will add more flights in the future.
The three other airlines at Austin Straubel are American, Delta, and United.
