Some members of Congress from Wisconsin are weighing in on the end of the federal government shutdown.
Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson of Oshkosh hopes they can come to a long-term solution to secure the border and keep the nation safe, while funding the government.
Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher of Green Bay calls it “insane” to have federal workers going without pay, while failing to fix border security and continuing crisis governance.
Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin believes President Trump accomplished nothing, and hurt a lot of people. She says now they can work together on bipartisan reform for border security and immigration.
