The future of the site of the former Pioneer Inn and Resort south of downtown Oshkosh is uncertain.
The owner started tearing down the buildings on the property off Pioneer Drive. Allen Davis is the city’s community development director. He says there are no plans, but the first step for redevelopment would involve demolition.
Davis says the city issued a demolition permit that runs through March 31st. The city’s plan commission and the city council would eventually have to approve any plans for the site.
