Snow plow drivers started early this morning, and they’ll be out for a while.
Winnebago County Highway Commissioner Ray Palonen says they’ve been trying to keep up on I-41. He says the wind is causing problems with blowing and drifting snow. He says that’s especially an issue along county and town roads in rural areas.
Palonen says they’ll have plow drivers on the roads through the rest of the day, and into tomorrow. He says they may have to stay out tomorrow, because of the wind.
