The tax season is underway, and an accountant with a downtown Appleton firm says tax forms will look different this year.
Stefanie Schuh is with Clifton, Larson, Allen. She says the changes are part of the federal tax cuts that were passed at the end of 2017. The traditional two-page 1040 is now only two half-sheets. Some are calling them postcards.
Schuh feels fewer people will itemize, because the standard deduction doubled for most taxpayers.
The filing deadline for 2018 tax returns is April 15th.
