Police say cameras helped them track down the four suspects in a crime spree that included the extensive damage at the Fox Cities Champion Center.
18-year-old Kevin Peterson and 17-year-old Brandon Fossum both of Appleton were taken into custody. Two other teens will go through the juvenile court system.
Appleton Officer Meghan Cash says they worked with Grand Chute and Fox Valley Metro police. She says investigators had to look through hours of footage from traffic, security, and business cameras in the areas of the crimes.
The teens are accused of setting elevator fires in two parking ramps in downtown Appleton. Police believe they also vandalized an apartment building construction project in Little Chute and a house site in Appleton.
Cash says they’re also trying to see if the suspects were involved in other crimes.
