A standing room only crowd showed up last night to talk about bartenders drinking on the job.
The Green Bay Protection and Policy Committee talked about creating a law to make sure bartenders stay sober while working. Alderman Randy Scannell is asking for the law.
About a dozen bar and restaurant owners were at the meeting.
Green Bay police officials say they haven’t had a problem with bartenders being too drunk to serve customers.
The committee decided not to take up the proposal.
