A stretch of Broad Street in Menasha will become a two-way street later this summer.
Public Works Director Joel Radomski says they’re switching from a one-way road, east of Racine Street. The DOT is making the recommendation, as part of the upcoming Racine Street Bridge project. He says that’s because the DOT is going to block drivers on Broad Street from going straight across Racine Street, or turning left onto Broad Street.
The city council is deciding to add two four-way stops along Broad Street. They’ll be at Appleton and Depere streets.
The city is rebuilding a small stretch of Broad Street between Appleton and Depere streets this summer. Radomski says the changes will take effect once that project is done.
