Flags in the state will fly at half-staff in honor of the Milwaukee police officer shot and killed in the line of duty Wednesday.
Governor Evers called for that order.
Flags will stay that way until Officer Matthew Rittner is laid to rest. There’s no details on his funeral.
Officer Rittner was shot while serving a warrant on the city’s south side.
A suspect is in custody.
