Hotel Northland in downtown Green Bay opens today after more than a decade of renovations.
The project was delayed several times for financial and personnel issues.
Lisa Kain is a curator at the Neville Public Museum. She says some big names have come through the door over the years. They include teams in town to play the Packers. She says Packers player Emlen Tunneli played in the 1960s and stayed at the hotel instead of trying to find housing.
The hotel originally opened in 1924. The doors will open again this afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
