The totals from yesterday’s snowstorm broke records in Appleton and Green Bay.
Meteorologist Jeff Last of the National Weather Service in Green Bay says Appleton got 10.2 inches. That topped the mark for February 12th of seven inches. Green Bay’s 8.8 inches beat the old record of five. Both were set in 1922.
Last says other places actually saw more snow. New London got almost 15 inches, and Waupaca had 14.8.
Oshkosh got about 10 inches.
