A new clinic for heart doctors will open in the Fox Cities.
The 15 doctors are leaving ThedaCare to start their own private practice. It’s be called the Heart and Vascular Institute of Wisconsin.
CEO Larry Sobal says it’s a growing trend for doctors to leave health systems, and venture out on their own. He believes doctors will also be able to spend more time with their patients.
He says many nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other staff are also joining the clinic.
The clinic will be in Grand Chute, in the former Globe University building. It’s expected to open on April 1st.
