Voters in some communities have a spring primary election today.
Oshkosh City Clerk Pamela Ubrig thinks polling places will be slow. She says this election has the mayoral primary race, and they expect single digit voter turnout.
The candidates in Oshkosh are Mayor Steve Cummings, Deputy Mayor Lori Palmeri, and Barley and Hops owner Nate Stiefvater.
There’s an eight-way primary for Green Bay mayor. Only two candidates in each race will make it to April 2nd.
There are also primaries for school board in Neenah, Kaukauna, Omro, and New London.
In Appleton there’s a three-candidate primary for the District 7 seat on the city council.
Harrison voters will narrow the field for the village board.
