A group of students from Little Chute high school are hoping to help save lives.
The kids, who are part of the Career Pathways Academy, are teaming with up the school’s licensed athletic trainer and the American Heart Association to learn and teach hands-only CPR.
Licensed athletic trainer with ThedaCare Abby Kaufman worked with the kids. She says it would be great if a doctor or nurse were on hand every time an emergency happened but that isn’t the case.
She believes it’s important for people to know CPR so they can help until emergency services arrive.
