A group that helps victims of human trafficking is moving into downtown Oshkosh.
Damascus Road hosted an open house today at its new office inside the First National Bank building.
Outreach Director Kerra Koslowski says they also have a resource center for victims. She says the struggle doesn’t end once they leave their situation because most of them didn’t have choices while being trafficked. She says they need help to take the next steps in things like getting a job or getting therapy.
The center has a boutique where victims can get clothes and other items. Koslowski says they also have a library and an art area.
Damascus Road was founded 10 years ago.
