New London now has an around-the-clock homeless shelter.
The Mission of Hope House has 23 beds, and the facility will help people in the city and rural communities in Waupaca County.
Vickie Frank says they’re also a resource center, and they’ll work closely with people to help them become self-sustaining. She says they’ll help everyone on an individual basis, because each circumstance is different.
Frank adds they have preventative classes on domestic abuse, and how to deal with rental issues.
The Mission of Hope House is in the 500 block of Shawano Street, on the north side of New London.
