An Oshkosh organization is using a dog to help domestic abuse victims.
Beth Oswald of Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services says a donor bought a three-year-old mutt named Ross about a year-and-a-half ago. She says a handler trained him to provide emotional support. Oswald says Ross helps people open up about their issues.
Oswald says research shows petting dogs lowers heart rates and helps calm people down.
