Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos believes there’s just a 10 percent chance Majority Republicans in the Legislature will support Governor Evers’ plan to legalize medical marijuana.
He thinks the proposal goes too far, because it would also decriminalize having small amounts of recreational marijuana. Vos believes he could get a majority of Assembly Republicans to support a narrow legalization of medical marijuana.
He says they’ll remove the governor’s proposal from the budget.
